Espírito Santo at the Hotel do Colégio
Many tourists who visit the Azores during this time of the year are amazed with the Espírito Santo festivities and the number of processions, fireworks and pilgrimages which can be found all over the islands.

Hotel do Colégio organizes, from the 19th June to the 4th July, in the scope of its program for the Promotion of Cultural Traditions of Azores in the Tourism Sector, a fortnight dedicated to the Espírito Santo Cult, with a program of events that might give an approximate idea of this cult.

Program:

1 – Exhibition – The elements of the Espírito Santo in Azores – from the 19th June to the 4th July

2 – Espírito Santo Soups– 27th June at 19:00h

3 – Tradition Live Music – 27th June and 3rd July

4 – Conference – “The Espírito Santo Festiviteis in Azores” – 19th June

5 – Gastronomy:

Restaurant A Colmeia – Espírito Santo Menu (soup, “alcatara”, “arroz doce”, homemade bread, “massa sovada”, “vinho de cheiro” and coffee)

Bar Ginásio – Espírito Santo Tea – Green Tea, “massa sovada”, “arroz doce”
