The North American government insists in carrying out its idea which consists of the inclusion, in a central data bank, of the history of the passengers of commercial flights, despite the strong opposition from the companies.
This idea was already tested in a pilot test, in which the opposition from the air companies was clearly demonstrated by the disagreement from the groups that defend the individuals’ privacy, which consider this initiative to be the starting point for the creation of “classes of passengers”.
According to the “The Washington Post” diary of the beginning of this week, the North American authorities do even plan to consider the validation and storage plan for the personal data of all the passengers, intending to give a number and a colour code to each of the passengers according to the danger each one represents to national security. |
