The Spanish air company Iberia, announced on Monday the expansion of the code-share agreement with British Airways, adding flights to Dubai, three Canadian cities and also South Africa, to its routes.
As a return, British Airways will commercialize Iberia flights between Barcelona and Munich under its flight codes.
At the end of last year, the two companies were given a six year permission by the European Union to operate within the space of the community. It is noteworthy that already in the middle of 2002, the two companies had requested an exceptional anti-trust regimen, so as to be able to share profits, make price arrangements, articulate sales forces and ground personnel, as well as coordinate connections flights.
