The Vila Joya, an ARTEH® Hotel in Guia, Algarve, invites you to surrender to the pleasures of flavours at the Food Festival “Tribute to Cláudia” between the 16th and 24th of January of 2010.  
 
“Tribute to Cláudia” is a homage to Cláudia Jung, that acquired the X in 1982, who was passionate for cooking excellence and had a refined and sophisticated taste, leaving a valuable inheritance that is still savoured today. A charming and welcoming refuge, the Vila Joya has the only restaurant in Portugal with two Michelin stars. 
 
In January 2010 this heritage is celebrated in the forth edition of the international Food Festival “Tribute to Cláudia”, that gives us the opportunity to show the country's food and wine richness to 19 Chefs awarded by the Michelin Guide. 
 
During nine nights the guests will be enchanted by the true delights of international renown Chefs. 
 
Dieter Koschina, Austrian, 46 years old, needs no presentations. He has been the Executive Chef of Vila Joya for eighteen years and the only Chef in Portugal with two Michelin stars, since 1999.  Koschina is a master in the combination of ingredients and textures, his food is refined and complex, but reveals unexpected family flavours. 
 
During nine consecutive days you will be able to share his fabulous kitchen with other respected Chefs and dozens of cooks, confectioner, trainees and curious - Dieter Koschina is the big host of Tribute to Cláudia Gourmet Festival. 
 
Under a sky of Michelin stars yield to the flavours at Vila Joya!
