“Guess your wine” at York House
Starting from the 22nd March, York House will present its Spring Menu and, as usual, the quality and the novelties will be at their best. The unquestionable talent of the Chef Eugénia Cerqueira does not cease to amaze us.

You now have the opportunity to savour, during lunch or dinner, new exquisite dishes such as Grilled Shrimp “Gaspacho”, Marrow on corn bread toast, Beefsteak with fresh “foie gras”, among others. To top it all, let yourself be tempted by the innovative desserts by Sofia Abecassis, Sweet Rice with cinnamon crust or Strawberry “Gaspacho”.

But the news are not over yet. During Spring, York House will launch a daily contest which will be called “Guess your wine”. What does this mean? Well, the idea is to have lunch or dinner at the restaurant “A Confraria” at York House and to be able to participate in a kind of wine game which might be fun and also profitable.

The client only decides if he wants white or red wine and the maximum amount he wants to spend on the wine. The wine will be deposited at the table, in a decanter, and the game consists of trying to guess its identity, or characteristics of its identity. The valued characteristics may be the country of origin, the region, the denomination of origin, castes, harvest and producer. The more right and precise the answers, the bigger the discount to the usual price. If you happen to guess all the answers, then the wine is free!!!
