In July 2010 the Moroccan Ministry of Tourism registered a considerable increase of 10% in international tourism, compared to last year.

Since the beginning of the year 5,6 million international tourists visited Morocco; the British contributed the most to this increase growth, followed by the Italians and Spanish. In the month of July alone (usually the month with best results), 1.701 million visitors arrived in the country.
