Next Wednesday, the 13th October 2010, the candidacy of the Portuguese national coastal zone as a world surf reserve will be presented.
The event counts with the presence of the Tourism Secretary of State, Bernardo Trindade, and the Tourism of Lisbon will also present the requalification plan for the same coastal zone.
The validation of this candidacy will make Portugal the first European country to offer tourists and practitioners of the modality a world surf reserve; currently only one exists, in Malibu, in the U.S.A.
