The Solar do Castelo, an ARTEH® Hotel in Lisbon, receives the first Eco-Hotel certificate, from TÜV Rheinland Portugal, in acknowledgment of the good environmental practices adopted.

The decisive factors for the attribution of this certificate are the reduction of water consumption through a structured plan; the safety of the guests; the substitution of all lamps for energy-efficient lamps; and the adoption of an integrated system of acclimatization and sanitary water heating.
