Spain is the most popular European Union tourist destination, with 268 millions nights during 2010, thus managing a raise of 6,4% in comparison to 2009.

After Spain, the most visited european countries in 2010 were Italy (244,7 million), Germany (228,8 million), France (196,4 million) and the United Kingdom (166,2 million).
