Next 18th of March 2011, at Faro's auditorium, the Turismo do Algarve presents the support structures for bird watching.

Bird watching is the observation of storks, herons, spoonbills or bee-eaters with the naked eye or through binoculars and telescopes.

"The project of collecting data on all the structures necessary for bird watching, including the observatories, informative panels, shelters and gangways, was commissioned by Turismo do Algarve to the architects from Arquilinea. This is now presented to the public to show that this hobby appreciated by millions of English men and women, for example, is flying high in Algarve", announced the entity, in a press release.
