From the 05th to the 08th of May 2011, Madeira’s landscape will be filled with color and joy announcing Spring time. The Flower Festival shows the blossoming of Madeira’s typical flowers. 

The success of this festival makes this event one of the most international touristic attractions of the Island.

The typical streets are filled with flowers and the sound of traditional music is heard all over the streets. The Flower Market is, undoubtedly, a place to visit.

The Flower Parade, taking place on the 8th of May, is an opportunity to see the fantastic decorated floats and thousands of participants dressed with flowers costumes.
