On the 22nd May 2011, the Convento do Espinheiro, an ARTEH® Hotel in Évora, launches a gastronomical challenge to Manuel Fialho and Luís Mourão.
Ingredients 1,80m of Manuel Fialho.* 1,78m of Luís Mourão. ** 1 X. 1 Bottle of red wine from Alentejo. 1 Ham. 1 cookbook with Coventual recipes. A pinch of conversation. 50 Seats. 20 Tables. Some aromatic herbs. Cheerful mood as needed.
Mix the above ingredients in an evening environment and open the bottle of red wine from Alentejo.
The ham is cut in thin slices so to obtained the maximum flavour. From the pinch of conversation nothing is required; just leave these two from Alentejo, one from Évora and another from Beja, united by a passion for pots and pans, saying what comes from the soul (and it is certainly enough), about this asset that is everybody's - Alentejo Gastronomy…
Oh! But only after you share with us the delicacies that you will cook in the pot, with time and many aromatic herbs.
P S. Do not forget the slices of hard bread and a touch of pennyroyal for flavour.
