The beautiful historical center of Alentejo's city of Évora receives the Pousada dos Lóios, a charming hotel that invites us to feel a place with centuries of history, and opens the doors to the World Heritage which surrounds us.
This hotel is installed in the old Săo Joăo Evangelista Monastery, founded in 1485 by D. Rodrigo Melo and built in the place where the Arab castle of Évora existed. During the 18th century, as a result of the damages caused by the 1755 earthquake, the building had to be reconstructed and in 1834 was closed by royal decree.
