The CNEMA V International Indoor Jumping Circuit is considered unique in Portugal; it includes the second edition of the Iberian Cup and simultaneously the launch of the country’s first sports horse exhibition. It will take place in the city of Santarém from the 6th to the 9th of January.
During the festival’s three days this competitive circuit will bring together all the national sets (horse/jockey) with the cream of federated Portuguese horse-back riders.
”This circuit, due to its unique characteristics, not only tests the expertise and aptitude of the riders at jumping events, but also allows them to train and prepare for the summer season” the CNEMA administration highlighted. They then added that “CNEMA infrastructure for these types of competition is the best in Europe, up to the standard of the great European events.”
The event occurs in a 6,400 m2 covered bay equipped with a high yield synthetic fibre equestrian track that is compatible to the dimension of the World Championship track (70m x 40m). “Due to all these factors we will, for the second time in a row, continue to bet on the Iberian Cup,” stated the CNEMA administration. |
