The 3rd Edition of Arte Estoril (Estoril Art) opens on the 14th of April at the Centro de Congressos do Estoril. A selection of Portuguese and Spanish galleries will be present along with several Iberian-American artists.

This year Arte Estoril will pay homage to Artur Bual, painter and precursor of gesturalism and abstract expressionism. In 2004 Arte Estoril highlighted the work of Nadir Afonso, painter and architect.

In parallel, Estoril Arte will organise debates on the role of art dealers in the market, the constitution of private collections, trends in the sector, and the conservation of artistic heritage. The 20th anniversary of the Centro Português de Serigrafia (The Portuguese Centre of Serigraphy) will also be acknowledged.

Arte Estoril, ending on the 18th of April, is part of the cultural calendar of the most renowned Portuguese tourist resort.
