On the 15th of May, The Farol Design Hotel, member on ARTEH® hotels chain, in Cascais, Portugal, will be hosting one of the biggest events ever organized in Portugal.

Vogue Italy is organizing the welcome party for the Laureus event, where celebrities will be giving the sports Laureus prizes to other celebrities.

Located on top of the ocean, with an exquisite décor, it was chosen to host the event due to its elegant and relaxed atmosphere and sophisticated cuisine. Some of the Designer rooms will be opened during the party, for visitation and some will function as party rooms.

For the guests delight, the Hotel will be fully decorated, with a renowned photo collection from Condé Nast, which has travelled the world in an international exhibition tour.

Morgan Freeman will be the host of the event. Cuba Gooding Jr., Jean Paul Gaultier, Giorgio Armani and Naomi Campbell are some of the celebrities that shall be present.

Guests will be greeted with French Champagne, accompanied by delicate finger food. Bernhard Pfister, the hotel's executive chef has prepared a dinner, starting with a Warm Gazpacho, followed by Duck Salad, Veal in Porto Wine, Monkfish with Rice and Prawns. There will also be vegetarian dishes and tempt full deserts.

Mercedes Benz and Montblanc are the patrons of the event.
