Quinta da Bela Vista in Madeira has been elected, by trade professional from 140 different countries, as Portugal’s Leading Boutique Hotel for the World Travel Awards.

The World Travel Awards are considered to be the world’s most prestigious tourism awards which result from the appreciation of over 170.000 trade professional of which 120.00 are travel agents. The factors taken into consideration during the voting were: the quality of the Hotel, the excellence in the service and the dedication to the costumer.

There are different category awards, having Quinta da Bela Vista won as Portugal’s Leading Boutique Hotel.

Quinta da Bela Vista, an estate that dates back to 1844, was the first farm in Madeira to be converted into a hotel, in 1989. Today, it is a five star hotel, where history and tradition blend in two hectares of exotic and luxurious gardens.
