The Juan Carlos I Exhibition Centre in Madrid hosts the International Fashion Week (Semana Internacional de la Moda de Madrid - SIMM), the most important fashion exhibition in the country, from the 16th to the 18th of February at IFEMA.
 
SIMM represents all areas of the fashion industry, from vanguard designers and party clothes to city and rural wear, everyday wear, sportswear, underwear, fashion for large women and teen fashion. Models also take to the catwalk, showcasing collections by up-and-coming and some more well-known designers.

The quality and the competitive price of Spanish goods are widely recognized on the international market and this is reflected in the increasing numbers of foreign exhibitors at the exhibition.
