The Juan Carlos I Exhibition Centre in Madrid hosts International Fashion Week (SIMM), the most important female fashion exhibition in the country, this year from August 31st to September 2nd.

SIMM represents all areas of the fashion industry, from vanguard designers and party clothes to city and rural wear, everyday wear, sportswear, underwear, fashion for large women and teen fashion. Models also take to the catwalk, showcasing collections by up-and-coming and some more well-known designers.

The quality and the competitive price of Spanish goods are widely recognised on the international market, and this is reflected in the increasing numbers of foreign exhibitors at the exhibition.
