Held at Rome's Scuderie Papali until the 2nd of September, and curated by Tomás Llorens and Boye Llorens Peters, Santiago Calatrava - From Shapes To Architecture is an exhibition that examines Calatrava's multi-faceted work, which ranges from drawing to architecture and sculpture.
On display are a series of sculptures made from granite and silver, Carrara marble and ebony, highlighting the concepts of movement and flow - the essence of the work of the Valencia-born architect and artist.
Throughout the duration of the exhibition, a video entitled Movement reveals the fascinating journey of the artist's creative process, from concept stage to complete project, while 16 selected films shown on the Quirinale terrace celebrate the concept of city in all its forms, from reality to imagination.
