The 8th of September celebrates Ampudia’s main village feast everybody looks forward to this day with religious fever because it is the patron saint feast, Our Mother of Alconada.

There is an open day gathering around the monastery, it is also amateur bullfighting with young bulls, open air dances and mores. Most people from the village who do not live there come during these days to spend the celebration of the patron saint’s day.

Although our Mother of Alconada is officially celebrated on the 8th , the festivities last for a couple of days.
