Mas Passamaner, an ARTEH® Hotel in La Selva del Camp, Tarragona - Spain, and Darphin, the French brand belonging to the Estée Lauder group, got together to create the first Darphin Spa in Spain, a SPA characterized by personalized dermatological treatments.

The prestigious five star boutique hotel and the luxury brand Estée Lauder have formed an alliance to set in motion a space which will respond, on one hand, to the high index requirements of Mas Passamaner’s clients, and on the other, to Darphin’s priority of researching dermatological treatment for your skin.

The idea conceived months ago was materialized this September following a period for training the hotel staff in the Darphin philosophy, which travelled to Paris, the cosmetic brand epicenter, where the SPA in Vendôme Square is the pioneer of this type of SPA.

The Darphin founder, Pierre Darphin, concluded in 1958 that the skin’s beauty comes from both inner wellbeing and cosmetic action. With this aim in mind, precursor formulas were created specifically designed for each person who needed his help.

Plants and fruits are the main components and are strengthened by the power of their aromas, one of the distinctive Darphin features. The Darphin Spa menu of Mas Passamaner respects the beauty ritual in three dimensions, just as Darphin created: correct, balance and beautify.

The hotel continues to bet on the development of its SPA, enhancing the high quality elements like this association with Darphin. In the proprietors own words, architect Ángel García Puertas, “we believe that Darphin can contribute with an added value to our clients more than a normal SPA hotel does, such as simple relaxation or "pastime”. We have been the pioneers, since the creation of Mas Passamaner in giving its own entity to our spa, this is one step more towards it".
