The Contemporary Mediterranean Gastronomy Week starts today and ends on the 8th of December 2007 at Choupana Hills Resorts & Spa, an ARTEH® Hotel in Funchal, Madeira.

Chef Gilles Galli invited Michelin Star Chef Didier Anies, the best cuisine ouvrier in France in 2000, to present the Contemporary Mediterranean Gastronomy Week at Choupana Hills Resort & Spa.

Authenticity, creativity and exquisiteness are inseparable in this Chef’s cuisine, who respects each product’s genuine elements and purity of the flavors.

3 different wines from the Carlos Campolargo collection were chosen to accompany the delicious creations. Campolargo is a renowned wine specialist who produces his wines based on experimentation and the comfort of the Portuguese wine chaste.

Along the same lines as the menu, where we savor the fusion of local products and French cuisine, the wines combine characteristics of those found in French wines.
