Organisers and participants in last year’s edition were unanimous in affirming the excellent welcome they received in the “white city”, above all due to the enthusiastic participation of the general public, which was a key factor in choosing Lisbon as the start venue of the Dakar Rally for the second year running.

With a vast international participation, this major sporting event will span a succession of unforgettable landscapes in Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Mauritania, Mali and Senegal.

The European lottery, Euromillions, represent in Portugal by the company, Jogos Santa Casa, is the official sponsor of Lisboa-Dakar, the world’s most prestigious raid Rally.
