A total of 257 galleries from 34 countries have been selected for the 27th International Contemporary Art Fair, ARCO’08, which will be held from the 13th to the 18th of February 2008 at the Feria Madrid exhibition centre.
 
A list of 224 galleries was confirmed after the second meeting of the Organizing Committee for the General Program and Arco 40. On the other hand, the program chosen by the international curators, feature 50 galleries, 27 of which are also taking part in the General Program and Arco 40. Out of the total galleries at ARCO’08, 70 are from Spain and the remaining 187 from abroad.
 
Featured newcomers include a strong presence from the world’s two leading art centres: New York - USA and London - UK, as well as others from Germany, Brazil, Italy, The Netherlands, amongst others.
 
Brazil will be especially well represented, as it is ARCO’s guest country for the 2008 edition.
