There will be three days of music, movies, puppets, shadow puppetry and a number of educational activities – this is what the Museu do Oriente will offer, soon after the official inauguration on the 8th of May, whoever visits its exhibitions.
Completely free (except for the Mário Laginha show, which inaugurates the auditorium), the activities were conceived to attract all types of public, from the youngest to the oldest.
Besides being able to see, in first hand, the exhibitions “Portuguese Presence in the East”, “Asian Gods” and “Asian Masks”, on your own or in guided tours, the three days of the Festa do Oriente will be filled with hindustani music, traditional dances from Goa, Chinese music played on western instruments and dances from Rajasthan.
