Painting will begin on Monday, 19 May and a temporary framework will be erected on a small portion of the building. Attached you can see an artist’s impression of the Hotel during this particular project.
As illustrated, the structure will not cover the entire building – only 25% of the Hotel will be painted at one time. You will notice that the colors chosen are slightly different - improved shades of the existing look.
We can assure you that all current bookings confirmed for the painting period will be pre-allocated away from the temporary framework. This structure may be visible from the exterior but it will not affect the room view and use of balcony.
For any new reservations made for the time in which painting is taking place, we will be able to confirm the exact location of a guest’s room in relation to the temporary framework.
Please note that rooftop rooms will not be affected at all by the structure. The fourth floor is currently being painted while closed for the interior refashioning and is due to re-open early in May.
We can assure you that every decision taken during this entire refashioning process is made with the guest in mind in order to create an overall enhanced product and improved guest experience.
