The city of Madrid received 512.940 visitors during the past November, with an increase of 17% foreigners and 6,5% nationals in comparison to the same period in 2002.
These numbers reassert the Spanish capital city as one of the most sought destinations for the hosting of national and international congresses, fairs and meetings.
During November, in just three congresses, over 16 thousand participants were in Madrid, with the addition of more than 250 thousand people that visited the various fairs held in Parque Ferial Juan Carlos I, which will also hold Fitur by the end of January. |
