After the success achieved with the inaugural edition, the Choupana Hills Resort & Spa, an ARTEH® Hotel in Funchal, Madeira, is once more enthusiastically promoting the Xôpana Jazz Festival.

The Festival´s organizer is Paulo Barbosa, promoter and critic, who was again able to bring together many well-known names of the Portuguese and international Jazz scene.

The programme structure will be the same as last year´s three double concerts nights:

4th September (Thursday)
- Trio Angular at 21h30
- David Binney feat. Mark Turner at 23h00

5th September (Friday)
- Julian Argüelles Quartet + André Fernandes at 21h30
- Steve Swallow / Ohad Talmor / Adam Nussbaum at 23h00

6th of September (Saturday)
- Maria João and Mário Laginha + Julian Argüelles at 21h30
- Enrico Rava Generations at 23h00
