Chef of Tivoli Ecoresort Praia do Forte shines in International Competition

The executive chef Josemar Passos from Tivoli Ecoresort Praia do Forte, an ARTEH® Hotel in Brasil, was one of those elected to present his dish “Acarajé de Orixá” at the great event “Flavours of the World” which will take place from the 4th to the 7th of December of 2012 in Chicago.

Over 100 recipes from chefs from various hotel units were sent and evaluated by the Omni Hotels & Resorts team, being chef Josemar Passos dish one of the six chosen.

The essence of the Brazilian culture (from Bahia) present in the dish and the perfect realization of the “Street Food” concept were what made it a winner.

From December of 2012 to March of 2013, the dish “Acarajé de Orixá” will be available at the 50 Omni Hotels & Resorts hotels, in the United States of America, together with other winning dishes, to celebrate this international recognition.
