From afar we can easily see the secular walls that protect the Pousada Castelo de Óbidos, which rises majestically at the top of this beautiful Medieval village. Here, you will experience the charm and romance of past times of kings and queens.

The castle was restored and transformed into a hotel in 1951, respecting its historical heritage and the needs of modern comfort. The highlights are two Manueline style windows and a battered wicker doorway, adorned with twisted trunks and surmounted by the royal shield and coat of arms of the Noronhas.
