2017 will be a very special gastronomic year for Vila Joya, an ARTEH® Hotel in Algarve. The hotel was awarded the title of Best World Culinary Hotel in the sixth edition of The World Boutique Hotel Awards and will continue to celebrate this fantastic distinction in 2017.

The first event will take place in May and will be a very special tribute to Claudia Jung, founder of Vila Joya. In her honor the hotel will serve an extraordinary dinner on the beach, with her favorite dishes prepared personally by chef Dieter Koschina, with hundreds of candles, a gentle breeze and the sound of the sea in the background.

A few months later, on the weekend of October 20 and 21, the gastronomic festival Route of Stars returns to Vila Joya for a night full of Michelin stars with Portuguese and foreign renowned chefs. Do not miss the tenth edition of the acclaimed Tribute to Claudia - the International Gourmet Festival of Vila Joya in November.

The Vila Joya hotel which has renovated its rooms also has a very special novelty. The hotel will open its second restaurant! The Xiringuito, located near the beach, will be an exterior and informal restaurant, which will serve the freshest fish and meat and sparkling wines. This will be the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy a different side of Vila Joya.
