Monte Rei Golf & Country Club, an ARTEH® Hotel in Vila Nova de Cacela, Algarve, celebrates its 10th anniversary with a set of events taking place in the resort itself, from July 22nd to August 12th, 2017.
 
Following the success of previous years, Guest Chef dinners return to the Vistas, the resort's main restaurant, where the host chef Albano Lourenço invites three Michelin star chefs to join him in the kitchen. They are chef Vítor Matos (Antiqvvm, Porto) on July 22nd, chef Jordi Esteve (Nectari, Barcelona) on July 29th and chef Henrique Sá Pessoa (Alma and Tapisco, Lisbon) at the weekend of 11th and 12th of August.
 
On the other hand, the Veranda Restaurant will host theme dinners: the Algarvian Nights, on July 30th and August 06th, with the freshest local products, from the mountains and the sea, selected by chef Albano Lourenço, and the Indian Nights, on the 03rd and 10th of August.
 
On the 01st and 10th of August, two different golf tournaments take place: the first with individual stableford format and the second with scramble texas.
 
This year also marks a new phase of growth for the resort: construction of forty new apartments next to the Clubhouse (already started), the second Jack Nicklaus golf course (start of construction planned for 2018) and launch of the project of hotel and beach club.
