Los Hermanos (Brazil), Blasted Mechanism (Portugal), Exilia (Italy), Charon (Finland) and Easyway (Portugal) are the confirmed bands for the AngraRock Festival 2005, which will be held on 2nd, 3rd and 4th September in Angra do Heroísmo city, Azores, Portugal.
The AngraRock Festival 2005 will also include performances by Stampkase, Velvetstone and Penumbra (award winners at the AngraRock Contest 2005).
The AngraRock Festival came to light the new century (2000) and its aim was to fill the gap existed in terms of youth-oriented musical events in Azores.
Now in its 5th successful year, the festival’s line-up has featured performances on stage by the likes of Império dos Sentados, Woodstone, Kit, Clã, Polo Norte, Morbid Death, Moonspell, Fonzie, João Pedro Pais, Oratory, tarantula, GNR and The Temple, from Portugal and other band coming from Europe like The Dismal and Killer Babies from Spain; Gene Loves Jezebel, Killing Miranda and Paradise Lost from England, Star Industry from Belgium and Flowing Tears and Reamon from Germany.
This Festival is the biggest event of its kind in Azores and is arguably the greatest festival for the youths of the archipelago.
The event is organised by the City Council of Angra do Heroísmo, and produced by Arado – Produções Musicais, which is sponsored by public and private entities. |
